01/27/2007 - (Sportsbook Betting Lines) - The Golden State Warriors try to make it two straight wins when they host the Charlotte Bobcats tonight at ORACLE Arena.

This is the first of two meetings between the teams this season. The Bobcats are scheduled to host Golden State on February 3rd at Charlotte Bobcats Arena.

Golden State has won three of four meetings between the clubs. The Warriors are 1-1 as the visitor against the Bobcats.

Monta Ellis drained a long jump shot as time expired, as Golden State picked up its first win since its big trade at it defeated the New Jersey Nets, 110-109, on Wednesday at ORACLE Arena.

Ellis ended with 20 points and six assists, while newly-acquired Al Harrington finished with 29 points in the win over the Nets for Golden State, which snapped a three-game slide.

The Warriors acquired Stephen Jackson, Harrington, Sarunas Jasikevicius and Josh Powell on January 17th from the Indiana Pacers for Troy Murphy, Mike Dunleavy Jr., Ike Diogu and Keith McLeod. Jackson had seven points in the win over the Nets.

Golden State is 16-8 at home this season. After tonight's game, the Warriors will embark on a six-game road trip. The Warriors will visit Cleveland, Atlanta Philadelphia, Charlotte, Indiana and Minnesota on the upcoming swing.

The Bobcats, meanwhile, will continue a three-game road trip and just put a two-game skid to rest with Friday's 106-97 overtime win against the Los Angeles Lakers at the Staples Center.

Matt Carroll scored 24 points and pulled down six rebounds, as Charlotte improved to 7-13 away from home this season. Carroll finished 8-of-15 from the floor and a perfect 5-of-5 from the line, while Emeka Okafor chipped in 20 points and 18 rebounds for the Bobcats, who have won three of their last five contests.

Gerald Wallace had 18 points and nine boards, Raymond Felton contributed 14 points with four assists and rookie Adam Morrison contributed 13 points off the bench for Charlotte.

The Bobcats are last in the Southeast standings.
